The Soaring Society of Boulder (SSB) is based at Boulder Municipal Airport, Colorado. A not for profit club, it has been in continuous operation since 1959. We provide gliders, tows, training and a great social environment to our 150+ members and their families. Our membership ranges in experience from fresh adoptees of the sport, instructors, national champions and world championship competitors.

New Two Place Glider on the Field

A DG 505 Orion two place glider is now available for the enjoyment of our members. The glider will be used for advanced cross country training. It is in beatiful condition and all  members should endeavour to keep it this way. It comes with a new "two man assist" rigging system and an enclosed trailer. New Discus CS

SG_LargeSoaring Society of Boulder members may now take advantage of a high performance Discus CS. This recent purchase  is equiped with a radio, transponder, Cambridge 302 and EDS oxygen system. The glider has full ground handling equipment and is stored in a modern Corbra trailer.
